Intake Opens: 8 a.m. on January 10, 2025
Deadline to Apply: 11:59 p.m. on February 21, 2025
Decision Notification: By March 21, 2025
Project Completion: By March 31, 2026
How to apply:
- Review the Capstone Activation Fund Guidelines 2025 (pdf) for information on project eligibility and associated deadlines.
- Complete the Capstone Activation Fund Application 2025 (pdf) and email to capstone@reddeer.ca with the subject line ATTN: Capstone Activation Fund. Please ensure files are combined into one single PDF, less than 10MB.
- Apply for your Special Event Permit with the City of Red Deer at https://www.reddeer.ca/city-services/permits-and-inspections/special-event-permits/
Following submission of your application, the Capstone project team will be in contact by March 21, 2025 to notify applicants of the funding decision (whether successful or not). If accepted for funding, project applicants will work with the Capstone team to draft an agreement. After the project is completed, the applicant must submit the post project report (provided in advance) with actual costs within 30 days of project completion.
